Variety Show
The Beantown Softball League selected the Boston Living
Center and Community Servings as beneficiaries of a league
fundraiser held at the Cambridge YMCA.

you to all of the performers, volunteers, and producers.
Evening
Art Reception
Thanks to everyone who attended the reception at Thos.
Moser featuring "Flowers & Fantasies,"
works inspired by nature, by Linda Peterson Pollen and Patrick
Pierce. A percentage of the art proceeds will go to the
Boston Living Center.
The exhibit continues until September.
High
Tide Pride
The seventh annual High Tide Pride event was a big success,
despite the weather. DJ Warren Gluck spun his tunes for
our tea-dance boat cruise complete with Silent Auction.
$2,300 was raised for the BLC - thanks to all for joining
us on board.
Lakia's
Treasure Palace
Lakia Mondale put on a special show to benefit the Boston
Living Center. Thank you Lakia for raising nearly $1,000
for the BLC!
Drag
Brunch
Thank you to Verna Turbulence and the Imperial Court of
Massachusetts for hosting another successful Drag Brunch!
Club Cafe was packed with drag queens and BLC supporters
raising money for our programs and services. More than $9,300
was raised for the BLC!
Running
for Life
BLC Marathon Team
The
Boston Living Center was chosen as an official charity of
the Boston Marathon, the first HIV/AIDS organization to
be so honored. A team of 17 runners, including two BLC members,
participated in the Marathon on Monday, April 21, raising
funds and awareness for the Boston Living Center.
The team raised more than $66,000 for the Boston Living

Renalds. Note that the BLC Running for Life team will
run the Boston Marathon for two more years, in 2009 and
2010, and we'll accept applications this fall for the 2009
team.

event. The Boston Living Center received $13,500 as one
of the beneficiaries!
